“The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?” — Psalm 27:1

Dear Heavenly Father,

 

We gather today with hearts full of gratitude for another week that You have allowed us to see. Thank You for being our light when the world feels uncertain. Thank You for being our strength when we feel weak. Lord, we praise You for Your faithfulness that never fails and Your mercy that meets us new every morning.

​

Father, as our city continues to face challenges in our schools and neighborhoods, we ask for Your peace and guidance. Protect our children as they go to school each day. Surround our teachers and leaders with wisdom and patience. Help us as a community to stand together for what is right and to lift one another in love.

​

Lord, we remember those who are sick or burdened. Touch every body with healing, every heart with comfort, and every mind with peace. Be near to the lonely, the grieving, and the forgotten. Remind them that they are never alone because You are always present.

​

Bless our pastor, Rev. Stanley D. Sparrow, and every servant of this house of faith. Give them renewed strength to carry out the work of ministry. Bless every family of Greater Corinth Baptist Church with unity, peace, and joy.

​

As we move through this new week, help us to walk in courage and faith. Let our words be kind, our actions be loving, and our hearts stay fixed on You. May the light of Christ shine through each of us, drawing others to Your grace.
